About the Magazine

Launched into print and digital rotation on January 23, 2016, Live From Da Trap Magazine was created by radio host Tory Chew as a direct extension of the hit Live From Da Trap Radio Show.

The name reflects the raw realities of our environment—capturing both the intense daily struggles and the incredible positive victories that people overcome within the inner city. The magazine serves as an unfiltered, premium space dedicated to showcasing independent talent and raw urban lifestyle. We focus heavily on the best underground indie artists, fashion, entrepreneurs, stylists, nightlife, beauty, hair, relationships, finance, self-help, health, politics, and our dedicated inmate section.

Showcase your music and talent to a global audience. Note: All published features require a signed intellectual property agreement.

• Rates: Full Page: $250 | Half Page: $125
• Submission Format: Microsoft Word Document only (for editing purposes).
• Biography Requirement: Submit a detailed 3-paragraph biography including your stage name, location, social links (Twitter, IG), website, e-mail, greatest professional accomplishment, inspirations, aspirations, favorite artists, and a compelling statement explaining why the world needs to listen to your music.
• Media & Audio: Attach exactly three (3) clean photos (no group photos unless previously cleared by the magazine team) and email two (2) of your best audio tracks to torycheww@gmail.com.

If you have a digital portfolio or a raw photo essay that speaks volumes, we want to see the world through your eyes. We look closely for individuality, uniqueness, and exceptional quality.

• Rates: No Fee (Free to submit)
• Format: JPEG format only. Images must be sent together in one single email—do not link via Google Drive or attach compressed Zip files.
• Email Details: State the exact date of your submission in the email subject line. Include all of your background context regarding the photos, your name, and full contact details within the body of the message.
